World Change Starts with Educated Children.
 
The San Diego Chapter aims to increase global literacy and gender equality in developing countries by educating and inspiring potential donors through fundraisers, awareness events and corporate outreach. Some organizations have found that sponsoring a project is a great way to give back. Here are some examples of how far our dollars go in the developing world:$250 sends a girl to school for one year$5,000 creates a small library $20,000 builds a library building for a larger school community$35-$55K builds a small or large primary school.
$15,000 funds the publication of 9,000 books written and illustrated by local authors and artists.
